This refund policy applies to all programs sold by Ruyi Culture, including online courses, live workshops, and coaching programs. Please read it carefully before completing your purchase.
1. Online Self-Paced Courses
For self-paced online courses, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided that you have completed less than 20% of the course content. Once you have completed more than 20% of the course or accessed downloadable materials in full, refunds are no longer available.
2. Live Workshops
For live workshops, you may request a full refund up to 7 days before the scheduled start date. Refund requests submitted within 7 days of the workshop start date will not be eligible, as seats have been reserved on your behalf. If the workshop is rescheduled or cancelled by Ruyi Culture, you will receive a full refund or the option to attend a future session.
3. Coaching Programs & Memberships
Coaching programs and recurring memberships may be cancelled at any time. After cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused days within a billing cycle.
For multi-week coaching cohorts, refunds are available within the first 7 days of the program start, provided that you have attended no more than the first session.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email support@ruyiculture.com with the following information:
- Your full name
- The email address used at checkout
- The program name and purchase date
- A short reason for your request (optional but helpful)
We aim to review refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe, and may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for a refund:
- Programs where the refund window has passed.
- Courses where more than 20% of content has been accessed.
- Discounted or promotional purchases marked as final sale at the time of checkout.
- Live workshops where notice was given less than 7 days before the start date.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that exceptional situations can occur. If you are experiencing a serious personal issue (such as a medical emergency or bereavement), please reach out — we will do our best to accommodate your situation on a case-by-case basis.
